"Hi everyone, my name is Mohika and I'm a second year international student at the University of Derby.

I still remember how I felt when I got that confirmation email of getting the scholarship. I felt so overwhelmed and like my dreams are finally coming true.

Getting the scholarship I feel was a huge factor influencing my decision to come to the UK to study, but it was a huge financial help and I felt that you know I was able to get some of the burden off my parents shoulders and it felt really good.

Getting a scholarship has really made me believe in myself and my abilities - I feel really grateful and blessed that I got this opportunity, otherwise I would have never had this kind of exposure. It is a huge motivation to work even harder to achieve those goals and I feel it has really helped me increase my confidence and self-esteem."
