General entry requirements

Here you can find details of the general entry requirements if you are from Pakistan. If you have specific questions about your qualifications you can contact the international recruitment officer.

If you are studying and completing the A-levels or the International Baccalaureate (IB) from the International Schools within Pakistan, then you can begin from the first year of a Bachelor's degree. Please see individual course pages for entry requirements.

Credit transfer into the second or final year of a Bachelor's degree programme may also be possible.

Students must have completed a relevant Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University in Pakistan. This should be equivalent to at least a UK ‘Upper Second Class (2:1)’ or ‘Lower Second Class (2:2)’ degree.

Students who have a two or three-year Bachelor degree must also have a pass in a Master’s degree.

If you hold a Bachelors degree with honours (four-year BA, BBA, BSc, BEng) with a minimum GPA of 2.4/4.00 from a recognised Pakistani University you will be considered for entry to a Masters degree.

For postgraduate research degrees, PhD applicants are expected to have a masters as well as bachelors degree in the relevant subject areas. Most importantly applicants must submit a research proposal. You can find out more here.

We accept UKVI and Academic IELTS at the required score for your chosen course, as indicated on the course page. The test must be no older than two years old. We will not be accepting Medium of Instruction evidence for English language.

For more information and advice about entry requirements contact us.
