About

I am a lecturer in Forensic Science and the programme lead for the MSc Forensic Science course. My background is in forensic entomology and microscopy.

Teaching responsibilities

I am the Module Leader for the Level 6 Module "Miscarriages of Justice" at undergraduate level and the Level 7 2Advanced Crime Scene and Evidence Analysis" at postgraduate level.

I also do various teaching on the topics of entomology, forensic ecology, imaging, and expert witness presentation.

Research interests

In 2018 I was awarded the Linnean Society of London's Trail-Crisp Medal "in recognition of an outstanding contribution to biological microscopy that has been published in the UK".
