I am a Chartered Psychologist, active researcher and Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Derby. I teach across undergraduate and postgraduate Psychology programmes, and supervise PhDs in Psychology and Health disciplines. My research interests include improving patient-reported outcomes in patients with cardiovascular conditions, and long-term conditions.

Research interests

• Experiences, predictors and outcomes (e.g. quality of life, anxiety, depression) in cardiovascular conditions and long-term conditions
• Adherence to medication
• The role of interventions (e.g. digital, positive psychology) in improving health-related and wellbeing outcomes
• Cross-cultural mental health and wellbeing
• Mixed-methods research.
