About

I am a Lecturer in the School of Computing at the University of Derby, specialising in cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), and secure systems engineering. I hold a PhD in Computing from the University of Derby, with research focused on security and energy optimisation in IoT-based systems.

With over 30 peer-reviewed publications in leading IEEE and ACM venues, I have contributed extensively to IoT, network security, and cyber-physical systems, earning two IEEE Best Paper Awards. I have served as Guest Editor for cybersecurity-focused special issues, General Chair of NGH-2024, and reviewer for high-impact journals.

I have significant teaching and supervisory experience across undergraduate and postgraduate, delivering modules in networking, cybersecurity, and IoT.
