I completed a PhD looking at decision-making when employing social workers with criminal records, and have taught all areas of social work across BA and MA levels. I have been programme leader for the different programmes and teach at all levels of the programmes offered at the University of Derby, from Foundation through to Masters level. I am involved in teaching modules such as Preparation for Practice, Placement Modules and Independent Studies.
