Looking to earn while you study?

Support the next generation of university students in a variety of ways – either as a Student Ambassador representing us to the public through Open Days, events, and school visits or chatting online to our prospective students. Or you could work as a Content Creator, creating vlogs, blogs, and social media content.

Are you passionate about your course and keen to share your experiences with others? If the answer is yes, you may be interested in applying to be a Student Ambassador. This role is managed by the Schools and Colleges Liaison team and work with the Widening Access team to promote higher education to a wide audience including under-represented and disadvantaged groups. You can work at in person events, and/or online through The Ambassador Platform app.

Working as a Content Creator is a great opportunity to share your story and try something new. We will provide you with a full brief around a topic and you can choose if this fits around your own deadlines. Don't worry if you have never created content before, we will guide you through it. All of the opportunities vary and there are lots of choices; you will learn new skills or build on the skills you already have - it's a great way to develop yourself.

Both roles give you opportunities to build confidence, represent the University to the public, and increase a variety of skills for future employment. Find out more about each one below.
