Commercial complaints process

Should you have a complaint about the University of Derby, please contact us by Email at businessgateway@derby.ac.uk. Please give as much detail as possible. Upon receipt of your complaint:

• We will endeavour to acknowledge receipt of the complaint within two working days of receipt
• We will ascertain the appropriate employee of the University of Derby to investigate the complaint
• We will investigate the complaint and thereafter provide a summary to you of any action which will be taken by the University of Derby in response to your complaint
• If necessary, complaints will be escalated to a Senior Manager or PVC (Pro Vice-Chancellor) Dean who will endeavour to have completed their investigation within 21 working days of their receipt of the complaint
