Why engage with Derby Innovation Accelerator?

The company approached Derby Innovation Accelerator to help with funding towards a new division within the business “Saving Water”.  The funding has contributed to the creation of a demonstration area showcasing the range of products available and the development of a new website and digital solution.

What has been the impact of Derby Innovation Accelerator support?

The funding has enabled the company to move forward with their new division and subsequent job creation in the local area, with new recruits working directly with the project.  The new platform will address a national opportunity for water savings through retail and trade engagement.

How have you found the experience of working with the Derby Innovation Accelerator programme and academic team?

Marketing Manager, Steve Lowe commented "The team have been fabulous. Nothing is too much trouble and they have provided us with continued support".

The support has led to wider working with the University.  Following liaison with the University Energy Manager, the company are offering various water efficiency services to the University to reduce consumptions and costs across campus.  The company is also considering applying for other funding schemes delivered by the University.
