Early Years and Education CPD Session

Meaningfully including children in your Early Years & Education practice (SEND & Inclusion)

Join us at the Devonshire Dome for an engaging evening of networking and professional development, focused on enhancing practice when working with children and individuals with complex needs.

The event begins with refreshments and networking from 5:00 – 6:00pm, offering a valuable opportunity to connect with peers and sector professionals. This will be followed by an interactive workshop from 6:00 – 8:00pm.

Hear directly from our guest speaker Trevor Cotterill, Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Special Educational Needs and Disability and the Online Top-Up BA (Hons) SEND at the University of Derby. Trevor is a recognised expert in the field, with research interests spanning autism and ADHD, key debates in SEND, and best practice for supporting individuals with complex needs. He is also a published author, contributing extensively to both academic and professional audiences nationally and internationally.

During the workshop, attendees will explore:

The session will be supported by colleagues from the BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies programme, bringing additional expertise and insight.

This event is ideal for practitioners, educators and anyone interested in strengthening inclusive approaches within Early Years settings.

This is a free event and all attendees will gain a certificate of attendance to help evidence their CPD.
