Industry opportunities on display at Chesterfield open day

Students considering their next steps are being invited to find out more about career-focused degrees and industry opportunities on offer at Chesterfield at an upcoming open event.

Taking place on Wednesday 7 October at the University of Derby’s Grade II-listed St Helena site, the event will give students the opportunity to find out more about programmes, meet academic experts and engage with industry experts.

As part of the event, students will have the chance to learn more about the University’s strategic partnership with Chesterfield Football Club, which offers students opportunities to gain experience within a professional football environment, including work placements, live industry projects and behind-the-scenes experiences.

Students can also benefit from direct routes to opportunities linked to the club, strengthening the connection between education and industry.

Students who already have their grades, or predicted grades, and meet the entry requirements of the University of Derby, may also be able to receive an offer in principle on the day.

The open day event will take place from 4pm to 7pm on Wednesday 7 October at St Helena in Chesterfield.
