How to clear your browser cache

Many issues can be resolved by clearing your browser settings. If you need help to do this, follow the online guidance on the IT Service Centre Knowledge Base website for clearing your cache and cookies.

If this doesn’t resolve your issue, you can contact the IT Service Centre for support. Visit itservicecentre.derby.ac.uk for ways to get in touch.

You may be asked to provide the following to help resolve your issue:

Using a different web browser

You may wish to try using a different web browser to access your studies.

We recommend using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. You can also use Firefox, and if you’re on a mac, you can use Safari (Internet Explorer is not recommended on any device).

Using a different device

Another option to consider is trying a different device; so for example if you are trying to access your account via a smartphone or tablet, we would recommend trying a desktop computer or laptop. When using the University's digital systems and services, it's recommended that you complete the majority of your study on a computer/laptop, and that your smart devices such as a phone or tablet can be used to compliment your learning for quick access on the move.

Password Reset

If you don't know your password and need to reset it, please go to passwordreset.derby.ac.uk.
