Postgraduate research students

Veronika works within the NHS mental health services, and her study explores how professionals of different disciplines, such as Psychiatry, Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Social Work, reach decisions about the allocation of work. 

Chris is a Senior Lecturer in SEND and Education Studies.

Louise is a Senior Lecturer in Derby Business School and teaches on undergraduate and postgraduate management programmes. Louise is also a Link Tutor, responsible for the management of the University’s academic partnership with a group of hospitality management schools in Switzerland.

Jo Byrd is the Programme Leader for the B.Ed and M.Edu Programme. Jo has presented at TEAN twice and published in TEAN, FORUM and co-written a chapter on Early Years Teachers.  She is currently working on her doctorate examining, 'How Whiteness Manifests itself in Teacher Education'.

Robert is currently researching practical applications of spatial concepts in acousmatic music with regard to listener experience and interaction, as well as potential aesthetic contribution to a variety of musical genres.

Chinedu is a Postgraduate Research Student at the University of Derby. His thesis title is Development of a condition-based maintenance framework for oil and gas plants to meet the requirement of industry 4.0.

Claire is a postgraduate research student within the College of Health, Psychology and Social Care.
