I am a Senior Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography teaching on the BSc, MSc (Pre-reg) and UDOL courses.

Teaching responsibilities

I lead modules across the BSc, and MSc (pre-reg) in Diagnostic Radiography, along with a UDOL module for assistant practitioners.

Professional interests

As a reporting radiographer, I have a particular interest in Trauma, CT scanning and Paediatrics.

Experience in industry

I qualified in 1996 as a Diagnostic Radiographer and worked for 18 years at Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. In 2014 I became a Senior Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography at London South Bank University and then moved to my current role at the University of Derby in April 2018. 

I have experience in plain film and cross-sectional imaging, specialising in radiographic reporting of the axial and appendicular skeleton.  I have worked in several major incidents whilst in London and forensic imaging.
