About

I qualified as a Diagnostic Radiographer from the University of Derby in 2009. Throughout my 16-year career, I have worked at both the Royal Derby Hospital and Sherwood Forest Hospitals (SFH). Alongside my Lecturer role, presently I maintain my clinical practice and HCPC registration as a Band 7 Radiographer at SFH one day per week. This allows me to stay up to date with current practice and developments within Radiology.

Teaching responsibilities

I teach across the BSc and MSc Diagnostic Radiography program, alongside online modules as part of the Assistant Practitioner Apprenticeship program.

Professional interests

I have worked within cross-sectional Imaging Departments since 2012, this is where my passion lies. Specifically within Computed Tomography (CT), I am highly skilled at performing CT Colonography, Cardiac CT and Emergency CT scanning.
