About

I am a Senior Lecturer in Mental Health and I'm the Programme Leader for the Professional Nurse Advocate programme. I am a Registered Nurse in Mental Health and hold a Lecturer/Practice Educator qualification recorded with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

My clinical experience is predominantly acute mental health care in hospitals and within the community. In higher education, I have worked as a practice educator and taught pre- and post-registration nurses. 

I am also an external examiner for undergraduate & postgraduate programmes at two other HEIs.
