Stephen is Chief Operating Officer, with responsibility for a range of key corporate services and strategy. Stephen joined the University of Derby in April 2024 having previously been Registrar & Secretary at the University of Brighton, where he was a member of the University Executive Board and led a range of large professional service areas. Prior to that, Stephen enjoyed a lengthy career at the University of Nottingham, where he held the position of Deputy Registrar.
