The Careers and Employment Service host a wide range of on campus and virtual events including; careers fairs, employer presentations, panels, webinars, skills sessions, networking events and conferences.

Part-time jobs and Volunteering Fair

Wednesday 23 September 2026, at Kedleston Road.

This fair is very popular with students and a great chance for your organisation to meet and recruit the emerging talent we have in Derby. This fair is open to students from all year groups and programmes, as well as recent graduates.

Graduate Careers and Placements Fair

Thursday 15 October 2026, at Kedleston Road.

This event is a brilliant opportunity for your organisation to showcase your graduate and placement opportunities. This fair is open to students from all year groups and programmes, as well as recent graduates.

Engineering and Technology Careers Fair

Thursday 29 October, at Markeaton Street

This event aims to promote opportunities aimed at students on our Engineering and Technology (including Built Environment) programmes. The fair is open to current students and recent graduates.
