Dr Reza Safari is a Lecturer at the University of Derby. His area of research is in prosthetics and orthotics, with a special interest in manufacturing and evaluating prostheses and orthosis, applied health research, systematic review and meta-analysis, and management and rehabilitation of long-term neuromuscular conditions.

Jillian Schofield is the College Lead for Learning Enhancement and College Lead for Collaborative Partners for the College of Health and Social Care. Jillian also teaches on a variety of Counselling and Psychotherapy programmes.

Charlotte is a Lecturer in the School of Psychology within the College of Health, Psychology, and Social Care. Charlotte primarily teaches research methods and health psychology. Charlotte's research focuses on factors affecting disordered eating (e.g., nature connection, post-traumatic growth, social influences) and the wellbeing of athlete populations.

Rachel Searcey is a Lecturer of Health and Social Care. My current research focuses on sexually exploited children and female street-based sex work. It looks at how the sexually exploited child transitions to street-based sex work and the support networks to reduce or stop the pathway into street-based sex work.

Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing and a RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) in the Department of Nursing and Professional Practice, with specialist professional experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.

David Sheffield is a Professor of Psychology at the College of Health, Psychology and Social Care. He is also Head of Research and Director of Professional Psychology Programmes at the University of Derby Online Learning. He also supervises PhD and Doctorate students. David's work has helped us to understand the impact of stress and pressure on health, wellbeing and performance.

Lou has worked at the University of Derby since December 2008. She is a Senior Lecturer and mainly teaches and assesses in stage 3 of the BSc Adult Nursing Programme. She is also the Placement Lead for BSc and MSc Adult nursing programmes.
