Derby Cathedral Service

We have the pleasure of inviting you to a Service of Celebration at Derby Cathedral taking place on Tuesday 14 July 2026.

The service will celebrate the life of the University of Derby with thanksgiving for student achievements at the beginning of its Awards Week.

The service will include participation from students and staff of the University, and mark the University’s link with the Cathedral, city and wider community, with representation from various faith traditions.

There will also be a display of student artwork from the 2026 Degree Show and drinks will be served after the service.

Everyone is very welcome to attend. Tickets are not required for this event, but we ask that graduates RSVP using the form emailed to them at the start of July.
