Campus Tours

Explore our campus on a guided tour led by a current student. With smaller visitor groups, you'll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions, explore our facilities and discover what makes Derby Uni Compare’s University of the Year 2027.

Typically lasting two hours, you’ll begin at our Kedleston Road site, where you can park for free. Here’s what you’ve got to look forward to:

• tour our campus with a current student – hear first-hand what student life is like
• explore teaching facilities – see the spaces where you’ll study day-to-day
• view student accommodation – take a look at what could soon be your new home from home
• ask your questions – get answers about student life, support and accommodation
• bring family and friends – share your visit with the people supporting your decision
• enjoy smaller groups – take your time to explore in a more relaxed setting
  
  

Locations

All tours available to book through this page take place at our Derby campus. This includes:

• Kedleston Road – our largest site, featuring a Bioscience Superlab, NHS-standard mock hospital ward, £10.8m Sports Centre and four-storey library.
• The Cavendish Building – Derby International Business School’s brand-new home, featuring a Bloomberg-powered Trading Floor, Creativity Lab, Supply Chain Lab and immersive Extended Reality Suite. 
• Markeaton Street – home to engineering, computing and creative facilities, all in one innovative space
• Brittania Mill – featuring professional art and design studios, creative workshop spaces and specialist printmaking facilities.
• One Friar Gate Square - bringing law, policing and criminology to life through specialist facilities including a replica Crown Court and custody suite.
