Inaugural Lecture Series - A key theory of how emotion shapes behaviour is known as Threat Superiority. Professor Maratos will present how she has challenged this with an alternative 'Relevance' theory of emotion and how this shapes our understanding of the neural basis of emotion, as well as her well-being intervention work with teachers and pupils.
