Meet the Technical Service Team

Joshua is a Film Production alumnus turned Technical Advisor and award-winning filmmaker. His job includes supporting the Media Loan Hub, Radio Rooms, Editing Suites, TV Studio, Rehearsal Rooms, Recording Studios as well as supporting and leading teaching sessions.

Martin Leedham is the Technical Instructor in Print within the School of Art. Martin has over twenty five years experience of working in education and has been at the University of Derby since 2010. Martin is passionate about all things print and helping students gain relevant print skills that will help them become better Artists and Designers.

Hazel Milwain is a technical advisor for the Fashion Programmes. 

Crispin Owen is a Technical Manager with responsibility for the strategic development, operation and management of high-quality and complex technical resources and support services across the College of Arts, Humanities and Education, College of Science and Engineering, and the Institute of Innovation in Sustainable Engineering.

John Shacklock is the Technical Team Leader for the College of Health and Humanities. He manages a team of ten technicians who support all areas of Nursing and Healthcare Practice and Allied Health Professions.
