Buttons

A button is a clickable hyperlink surrounded by a box.

Buttons on the University website can take you to another page, a section of a page e.g. a form, or a link elsewhere on the web.

They effectively guide users towards completing an action due to their visibility, action-oriented nature and accessibility. This makes them an essential tool for enhancing user engagement and conversion rates on websites.

How to create a button

• Within a Text Block, write your button text e.g. Find out more about applying
• Highlight the text
• Insert your section link, content link or link to an external site
• Once linked, highlight the link and go to Format > Custom Format > Button Outline
