One Friar Gate Square is a 10-minute walk into the city centre and a 25-minute walk from our Kedleston Road site. All halls of residence are within easy walking distance.

The building houses spacious and newly refurbished learning spaces and specialist training facilities which include:

• Replica Crown Court
• Student Legal Advice Centre
• Replica Custody Suite including interview rooms and cell

This modern and iconic building is the base for our Criminology, Law, Policing and Social Sciences courses. This innovative space allows students to take their classroom learning to the next level and familiarise themselves with what could be a future work environment.
