Kedleston Road library tour video transcript and audio description

The presenter stands next to one of the balconies on the fourth floor of the library in the Kedleston Road campus. He gestures around him in a motion that encompasses the area. 

"We are here at the library at Kedleston road. This is the big, the main library, this is the hub. Check this out. Four floors of books, of journals, essentially everything that you're going to need for your course here at the University of Derby." Upbeat music plays in the background. 

The video continues to show slides of different pictures taken in the library accompanied by related text - as follows: 

• Text over an image, of four balconies, that reads 'four floors with their own study zones'  
• Text over an image, of the central spiral staircase and reception desk, reads 'green zones are discussion areas for you and your friends'
• Text over an image, of desks and computers, as well as bookshelves, reads 'yellow zones, are for individual quiet study' The text changes over the same image to read 'red zones are for silent study'
• Text over an image, that shows a private study booth amongst high desks with computers on, reads 'there are study booths and standing desks'
• Text over an image, of the meeting room area populated with chairs and computers, reads 'meeting rooms and plenty of computer space'
• Text over an image, of the library's spiral staircase from a viewpoint on the second floor, reads 'our libraries are well-stocked with books, journals, multimedia and archive material, and well-equipped with technology to support your studies'

After the last picture of the library, the video fades to an image of the University of Derby logo containing three peaks outlined in black and white.
