Computing Laboratories

Computing courses are based at our Markeaton Street site, where we have dedicated computing laboratories, including open-plan software development studios, a networking laboratory, a virtual reality and cross reality lab.

All our computing labs at our Markeaton Street site contain dual-screen, multiprocessor computers equipped with a variety of industry-standard commercial and open-source software.

Our specialist facilities includes our CAVE lab which contains specialist data visualisation hardware and a 270-degree 3D projection setup. Our cross-reality (XR) lab provides specialist games and visualisation hardware for mixed-course games development.
