Electronics Laboratories

We have specialist electronics laboratories dedicated to the Electrical and Electronic Engineering degrees taught at our Markeaton Street site in Derby.

As a student on one of our Electrical and Electronic Engineering courses based at our Markeaton Street site, you’ll learn and carry out experiments in our specialist laboratories dedicated to this area of engineering.

Our Electrical and Renewable Energy Lab contains state-of-the-art equipment to investigate different methods of harnessing energy from wind, wave and solar. Alongside practical work in the labs, you’ll learn through a mixture of laboratory work, lectures and tutorials.

Our labs include a range of test equipment and computers with the latest simulation software, state-of-the-art equipment to investigate different methods of harnessing energy from wind, wave and solar, and a multi-channel sound lab containing 32 loudspeakers.
